ATB Skimmers which has been working on a hang-on-back skimmer for some time, and have decided to scrap that model which we reported on earlier for a newer model. Of the changes, it appears that a option of having the pump outside the aquarium, or inside. Having the pump outside is a smart one in our opinion as it frees up tank real estate for other more important things, like for example additional corals. The body appears to have no seams, which leads to believe that ATB might be using plastic injection, something that is normally only used on mass-produced cheaper skimmers. We originally acquired photos back in June, and now these. ATB seems to be taking their time to perfect their newest product offering.
