We received word, from two very reliable sources that a new salt is in the works. The salt which will be specially targeted for Zeovit users is undergoing beta testing at the moment. This said salt is said to have zero NO3 and PO4 something that Zeovit users must have, granted we wouldn’t mind having those water parameters either. Each batch is “hand-made” in small amounts, unlike mass produced salts like Reef Crystals or Instant Ocean to name a few. If the testing goes as planned we should start to see select retailers carry this premium salt for Zeovit users. Early projections target a January 2009 release date. Also to relating to salt, Brightwell Aquatics, the company on a war path with new products has said to have bought an industrial grade mixer. Which tells us that we should expect to see a new reef salt coming from them in the next year if all goes well.
