Is that a coral banded crab in your pants or are you just happy to see me? A recent expedition to the tiny island nation of Vanuatu has yielded a wealth of new aquatic and terrestrial species. It is safe to say that the expedition included a crab specialist because there were dozens of new crab species in the mix. You’d think that with all these people criss-crossing the globe illions of times per day we would have fewer huge large discoveries like this but that is not the case.
