Well what do you know, first Calfo gets a presidential deal with IceCap and now good old Eric Borneman has become president himself, of MASNA, the Marine Aquarium Societies of North America. On Tuesday Dec. 4 the new honcho issued a presidential decree, decreeing his new found presidentiality. Aside from the highly successful Marine Aquarium Conference of North America (MACNA), In the last several years MASNA has struggled to produce anything of much value for the hobby or for the marine aquarium societies it serves. Hopefully with some ambition and leadership from this diva pillar of the marine aquarium hobby, the aging society will be able to modernize and start becoming engaged in the marine aquarium hobby in ways that are more relevant to everyday aquarists.
