We missed this unit before so we are reporting it now, The Vari Ballast system helps control and program your Metal halide systems. It runs on MH, MH-PS, HPS, conversion. The system can handle wattages from 250 to 430 watts. Included with this is the software which allows you to program specific timing and dimming modes. Thankfully this model is network ready with controls coming from digital display, PC and internet. There doesn’t seem to be any love for Mac users at the moment either. Vari Ballast runs cool and it is touted to be energy efficient. This is a great solution if you wanted a dimmable metal halide but it wasn’t included or an option on your unit.
