If an aquarium is only as good as the stand that supports it then the Red Sea Max 250 has nothing to worry about. With it’s matte finish, simple styling and robust appearance the RS250 stand is definitely a piece of furniture to be proud of. Furthermore, the top of the stand is absolutely flush with the base of the tank. With a retail of about $250, we were even thinking that this stand would be a good consideration to support other aquariums, barring the mismatch between this stand’s curved corners and the sharp corners of most tanks. The stand only required 45 minutes of assembly with minimal time spent reading instructions and the split shelving allows for storing various reef equipment in a neat compartmentalized way.
