The website of the still-kickin’ IMAC went live this past weekend, spilling forth all kinds of details on the event’s speakers, location and registration. The three day event will set you back a reasonable $100 ($50 for students) which includes access to all the speaker talks, exhibit hall and more but there is a wide variety of packages to get you in on different days or if you just want to check out the vendor/exhibitors. The speaker list already features a who’s who of national speakers including Fenner, Joshi, Adams and Calfo as well as plenty of fresh faces which are sure to get attendees up to speed on the bleeding edge in aquarium technology, techniques and more. IMAC West will indeed be taking place on the fabulous Queen Mary which we are told is quite a treat. If you’ve never stayed on the QM, you might attend the reefing event with your family so that they too can enjoy the luxurious rooms which will be $119/night, a steep reduction on the usual $250 rate. We have a feeling that this show is gonna be more of a party than usual.
