With two large marine aquarium events behind us and two more ahead of us, there’s no doubt that the marine aquarium conference season is in full swing. If you live in the Northeast, in NY or any bordering states, you should be taking a look at the Northeast Regional Aquarium Conference IV, this saturday at Atlantis Marine World in Riverhead NY. The speakers are a heavy-hitting lineup which all have some very interesting, cutting edge topics and we wish we could go. The conference pass wil set you back $30 and if you want the aquarium tour and dinner the full pass runs $80. If you’ve never been to AMW, you ought to attend NERAC just to see their world famous 20K gallon reef tank, perhaps the nicest reef aquarium in the world. The show starts at 8:30 am and passes are limited so get there early.
Citizens living in the southern part of the Texas Republic also have a show in their area this Saturday with the Texas Marine Aquarium Conference in San Marcos. TMAC will feature the usual speakers, a grand raffle and it’s own share of coral vendors and product manufacturers. Pre-sale passes are $25 for the full day show but they will be $30 at the door and the show begins at 8am.
