If you have never been to a Southern California marine aquarium event then you are missing out. Easily the largest marine aquarium show in the country, the second Marine Aquarium Expo (MAX) will be taking place at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa CA next weekend April 3-5th. Friday April 3rd will only be open to marine aquarium businesses so it’ll be a trade show of sorts but Saturday and Sunday will be fair game to the general public. $10 will get most of you through the door with kids 12 and under getting in for free. Make sure you get there early on Saturday, there is sure to be quite a crowd vying to get first pick at the cherry corals and first look at some new products. With close to 2500 attendees last year, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the attendance reach 3000 this year. For more information please visit the MAX website.
