Italian blogger Danilo Ronchi has the Italian reef scene covered and smothered and today he shares with us one of the countrie’s finest reefs. The aquarium of Enzo Romeo is in the modern style with a trimless, braceless aquarium and a sloping syle reefscape. The reef is unique in that it features a wide range of different corals and reef animals ranging from SPS up on high to LPS and softies midway to lower down. Furthermore, instead of having a couple show fish the reef scene is livened up by a large grouping of yellowstriped cardinalfish, Apogon cyanosoma. The bright and open sandy bottom around the tank frames the entire reef in a perfectly balanced view. We commend Enzo for having a strong sense of aesthetic for this aquarium and we look forward to seeing more beautiful reefs emulate the better qualities of this tank. For more information be sure to check out Dani’s full write up and photo gallery of this tank on his blog, Danireef.com.
