iTech skimmers has released a new motor upgrade for their skimmers. The upgrade is based off of the Laguna Max-flo 1500 that has a custom CNC milled volute and custom 106 pin needle-wheel. Like all things needlewheel, it has been designed to produce an extra large froth of foamy goodness. The good news about this upgrade besides the needlewheel? The air draw. Said to suck air at 1300-1600 lph at only 45 to 46 watts at a 7″ depth. i-Tech is also giving you the option to just buy the mod kit which includes everything except the motor block. Not to many companies offer this (we are looking at you Royal Exclusiv) and that is a nice change within the industry. The upgrade is $325 including the motor block and $175 without.
