Prisma Canvas is a new enterprise that showcases the reef aquarium art by the extremely talented Kaitlyn Cameron. We had the great pleasure to view some of her work at the CRASE event this past event and you can imagine how good the illustrations must have been to tear us away from our precious live coral frag money. The meticulously hand drawn reef art leaves no details to the imagination and the subtlety of the shading and patterning is absolutely exquisite. Kaitlyn and Prisma Canvas have been doing this type of work for some time now but they are really just starting to make a big push into producing museum quality reproductions and lithographs so that the art can be appreciated by a much wider audience. Although the website does not yet feature a full shoppign system for ordering prints, this feature should be up in the next couple of days. The first frag-swap showing of Prisma Canvas illustrations was extremely well received and the original Declivis butterflyfish to the right was quickly snapped up from under us. But that’s ok because we will be working with Prisma Canvas to commission some exciting originals and if you have a special request they will be taking serious offers for original comissions. Take a moment to visit the Prisma Canvas gallery and keep an eye out for the posting of their prints for sale in the upcoming days.
