Nano Customs has announced that their new PAR38 LED bulbs have received a bump in the specs department. In their own words:
Our manufacturer dropped a nice little surprise on use with our last batch of PAR38 lamps: MORE POWER!! They have gone from about 15W to about 21W of power draw. What this means is about a 25% increase in PAR output with the same lens configuration. All lamps shipping now will be the higher power version.
We’re all happy about the bump of 25% increase in PAR output with the higher wattage draw. I might have to get one of these for my nano aquarium I am setting up. The PAR38 E26 LED spotlight is set to explode on the reef keeping scene for its ease of use (just screw in) and high PAR numbers. Don’t forget, some varieties come in red or blue.
