Reef Fusion is a new two part calcium and buffer replenishing solution from Seachem which we had the pleasure of announcing to you last week. No we sooner do we hit the post button then we receive a preview of the gorgeous new labeling for the Reef Fusion1 and 2 bottles. From the labels we can tell that Reef Fusion will be marketed within the general Seachem brand as opposed to the Aqua Vitro line of additives and salt. Although Reef Fusion won’t be part of the Aqua Vitro line, Seachem states that the product is more concentrated than other two part solutions: Reef Fusion 1 contains 100,000 mg/L of ionic calcium and Reef Fusion 2â„¢ contains a mixture of carbonates and bicarbonates at an alkalinity of 4400 meq/L. RF1 also includes “biologicaly appropriate levels of magnesium, strontium, boron, iron, manganese, and molybdenum”. We are told that Seachem’s Reef Fusion should start shipping in early December.
