As we approach the new year, the artful reefers at CoralMorphologic have just released another visually stimulating video. The diminutive Pederson’s cleaner shrimp, Periclemenes pedersoni, is a gorgeous little crustacean that is nearly see-through save for a few subtle and intricate markings. Pederson’s cleaner shrimp is equally at home sitting on top of a 5 foot grouper as it is just chilling in various Caribbean cnidarians such as the Ricordea florida featured in the video or the Condylactis anemones that abound on the reefs of the Tropical Western Atlantic ocean.
This latest video is a testament to how well the Core More crew has finely tuned their craft of combining macro, fluorescence, new age music and unique Caribbean specimens into videos that would make any Caribbean critter lover proud. Huge thanks to Collin & Co. for tossing us beautiful video blogging fodder this past year and we are looking forward to seeing what else they deliver in 2010 in addition to their awesome Caribbean corallimorphs and zoanthids.
