The Sybon Digital Thermometer is a welcome newcomer to the desolate group of economy electronic thermometers. While browsing for thermometers recently, we just couldn’t bring ourselves to spring for even a few bucks towards the fairly unreliable Coralife model. The only other option is to spring $30-50 for a quality Lifeguard or American Marine’s Pinpoint wireless digital thermometer, which we would gladly spend were it not for the fact that we are trying to outfit almost 10 tanks with upgraded thermometering. The Sybon Digital Thermometer is submersible, it reads only in Fahrenheit and it ships with a spare battery; it may be made in China but Sybon does have a better reputation as far as Chinese made aquarium products go. So far only Premium Aquatics has imported this potentially more reliable submersible digital thermometer and they’ve decided to help all Reef Builders upgrade their thermometers with a super fire sale: the Sybon Digital Thermometer normally sells for $11.99 but for a 24hr super sale Premium will be selling the device for $6.99 exclusively through this link . Better hurry up though because we’ll be picking up 10 of these and they only have 450 more of them in stock.
