Interzoo is one of those magical shows that aquarium bloggers tell their little blogging kids about. When I was your age InterZoo only had 500 exhibitors. Well it’s 2010 baby and with 1,600 exhibitors, this venue is rocking more reef and marine aquarium products than you can shake an army of sticks at. You may be asking yourself how we’re already blogging a show which hasn’t even started yet and our answer is, we have our ways! We’ve already spied just about every booth at InterZoo 2010, nearly all of which are still in the process of being built and which will not be completed until tomorrow night. Seriously, there must be over 500 carpenters literally building these ginormous, ostentatious billboards they call a tradeshow booth throughout the eight event halls they call the largest pet trade show in the solar system. Maybe we only have eyes for the aquatics but our rough estimate is that somewhere between 35 to 40 percent of the exhibitors are aquaristik in nature, be it freshwater, saltwater or ponds. You would not believe what we”ve already seen at InterZoo 2010 before it’s even opened but if you follow along, we promise to do our best in bringing you vicariously along for this amazing journey of aquarium technology and product discovery.
