The Mag Scrap algae magnet for cleaning aquarium glass is a new product from the only company that doesn’t make “sinking magnets”, Mag Float. It’s funny how many people have DIY’d scraping solutiong for Mag Floats, usually in a fixed manner but the Mag Scrape will have user replaceable scraper blade. The ones we saw were sporting metal scraper blades but these will also be available in a acrylic safe version. The Mag Scrape is only planned for medium and large Mag Float models, for now, so owners of the smallest and largest models will still have to rely on a little elbow grease to remove the tougher algaes.
