The Aquasunspot LED lamps from AquaMEdic are a nod from the resurging aquarium manufacturer that they are taking LEDs seriously and they are inviting the spotlight form factor to the party. The Aquasunspot LED spotlights use all one watt LEDs that are available in combinations of three, seven and twelve watts, the smallest of which is pictured above rockin an MR16 base and the 7 and 12 watters are of the E27 variety. The Aquasunspots have a balanced combination of blue and white LEDs and a very attractive price to boot; the aquasunspot will be an estimated $20-25 for the three watter, $45-50 for the 7 watter and around $80 for the 12 watter. These lamps are on a boat for AquaMEdic HQ in COlorado as we speak and should start distributing in the middle of summer.
