The Helios LED + T5 hybrid reef aquarium light from Giesemann was arguably one of the sharpest looking new lights unveiled at InterZoo this past weekend. Price and specifications we have none; like their lighting products, the Giesemann booth was one of the most attractive and inviting and every time we went to ask Axle about his new creation, the booth was so crowded we were jsut content to snap these couple shots of this drool worthy LED + T5 light. Unlike the MatrixPlus which just adds a few LEDs to get that shimmer effect, the Helios borrows more from it’s metal halide fixture pedigree to deliver a balance of power and color from both LEDs and T5 lights. We specifically uploaded some higher resolution images for you to click on so you too can enjoy the look of this super car of a light which looks like it wants to tear laps around your tank, while staying absolutely still. Sorry to be so slim on details but we’ll be sure to follow up and we may even know of a certain 600 gallon reef tank which may get first crack at taking the Helios for a test drive. Just a little more impressive in real life than those digital renders we leaked before the show, eh?
The Helios LED + T5 hybrid from Giesemann is drop dead gorgeous
