The IQ Thermo nano aquarium heaters from Dymax are intriguing and practical bits of aquarium temperature control. Like the closely related W-5 hang on vortex cooling fan from Dymax, the IQ Thermo nano heaters share the same hang-on functionality and the same color palette, presumably so you can have a nano aquarium heater and fan with colors that express who you are as a person. The IQ Thermo comes in 20 and 30 watt models, in the colors you see above, with a simple indicator LED and single button to set your desired temperature. The black and white models will probably become popular if they are ever imported into the US where nano reefing is hugely popular and successful. We can think of dozens of die-hard nano reefers who will appreciate not only having a combination heater thermometer where the element is in the aquarium but the thermostat is outside the tank. No word on pricing or US distro but we can expect these to cost more than the simple one-temperature nano heaters that are currently the only real choice for a petite aquarium heater.
