Osmosys is a new line of reverse osmosis water purification systems from Reefline. The R.O. units by Osmosys appear to be made from pretty standard issue components although the shorty canisters of the Osmosys Sys 02 uses 5″ canisters that we are unfamiliar with. Osmosys is quick to point out that all of the parts used in the Osmosys are NSF and WQA compliant, ensuring that the water produced from these R.O. units is not only safe for human consumption but for reef corals and delicate reef life as well. Had the Osmosys R.O. been released a couple of years ago it would be breaking new ground but by now, the pressure gauge, flush valve, TDS meter and quick release fittings are all pretty standard fare for high quality reverse osmosis units in the US from BRS, AquaticLife, Vertex and Seachem. The 5″ canisters of the Osmosys Sys 02 are pretty interesting but we presume you could just swap out your full sized canisters for these if you were hard pressed for space in your water closet. The Osmosys filters were being displayed at the Korallen Zucht InterZoo booth a couple weeks ago and we suspect their importation and distribution will follow the same channels as Zeovit products.
