Last week the word got out that a new species of fish was available in the aquarium wholesale. Not just any fish but a beauty that was named after the man who has discovered it, Arie De Jong (De Jong Marinelife in Holland). This fish was discovered in Cuba as a member of the gramma family and it’s called the Gramma dejongi. Last week a Belgium aquarium shop, Reef-Corner, had the honor of being able to sell the first two Gramma dejongi to the aquarium hobbyist. Be sure to check out our other posts on this sensational new Caribbean Gramma dejongi and huge thanks to Karl of Mare Nostrum for passing along these images by Theo of Reef-Corner.
We just can’t get enough of Gramma dejongi
