Recently, B-Box Aquarium discovered a pair of unknown Pseudojuloides wrasse species in a live stock delivery from southern Africa. The head worker for the shop researched what a kind of species they are and he ended at FishBase. The fish really looks like Pseudojuloides xanthomos which has not yet been documented as being available for the aquarium trade. The one characteristic of Pseudojuloides xanthomos is to have black part at the first line of dorsal fin which is readily visible in these specimens. P. xanthomos was described in 2000 from a single male specimen caught in Mauritius and it is most closely related to X. cerasinus which has the yellow stripe extending down the length of the body.
