The Mighty Mite is a miniaturized four stage RO/DI unit which delivers all of the features of a full size RO into a little bitty space for a similarly reduced price. For just over a benjamin at $109 from Air, Water & Ice, the Mighty Mite includes a large micron prefilter, a standard sediment prefilter and carbon cartridge, RO membrane and a DI stage for final pass through. Weighing just seven pounds and 6 x 7 x 15 inches, the Mighty Mite is a very portable water purification machine. Depending on the water temperature the Mighty Mite can produce between 20 and 50 gallons per day so on average, you can expect about one to two gallons of pure water every hour. If you have a nano aquarium system with modest needs for top off, the Mighty Mite could be a great option for the nano reefer who is pressed for money, space or both.
