The Aquatronica Light line of dimmable T5 lights and controlling modules allows you to get a fully controlled, dimmable T5 lighting system via modular connections. The system starts with the Aquatronica T5 dimmable light bar that is available in either 3 (39W), 4 (54W) or 5 ft. (80W) lengths featuring a typical tandem T5 retrofit kit that come with a ballast capable of being dimmed along with a special connection to fit into the Aquatronica modules.
From there you have your choice of modules that allow you to connect the lights to either of Aquatronica’s controller modules or set and control your lamps from a PC. The Aquatronica Bar-light Dimming Module (ACQ441) is the direct connect for use in the Aquatronica Aquarium Controller System or its Multitester System. The Aquatronica Standalone Bar-light Dimming Module (ACQ440) allows you to use their PC software (probably no Apple support) and set your lighting program. The ACQ440 module has an internal battery so the lights can work in the stand alone mode without the need for any other control systems. Also available are connecting wires to hook up dimmable lamps of other “Aquatronica Compatible” manufacturers (not sure of any off the top of our heads) to the Aquatronica control systems.
