The Energy Bar 4 and Variable Drive Modules are the latest accessories that will be soon available for Neptune Systems’ Apex aquarium controller platform. Like the Energy Bar 8 that ships with the Apex controller package, the EB4 features heavy duty construction, with AquaBus connectivity and it will essentially replace the previous generation Direct Connect 4. The Variable Drive Module will be a satellite accessory port for those devices which interact with the Apex via either the serial port (like the AI Sol LED lights) or the variable drive ports (like the Tunze turbelle stream and Silence centrifugal pump). The EB4 retails for $109.95 and will be available in October. The VDM retails for $99.95 and will be available in about late September or early October.
