You know that Combo LED pendant from Blue Moon Aquatics that we’ve been all hot and bothered about? Well it appears that Blue Moon Aquatics has given us another reason to think their multichip LED spotlight is bomb-diggidy: Instead of offering a fixed Combo LED Spotlight Blue Moon has instead developed the satellite blues into an optional Blue Booster LED Ring which will fit their standard multichip LED spotlight.
So now there won’t be the option of buying a fixed Combo LED pendant but you’ll still be able to purchase the 10K or 15K multichip spotlight and add a Blue Booster LED ring to add to it. Presumably the price point of the white and blue LED together will come in at a reasonable price point which has not yet been established. The first samples of the Blue Booster LED ring from Blue Moon Aquatics should be landing this Friday and will be shown off first at the Reef Builders lounge at this weekend’s Reefapalooza in Costa Mesa, CA.
