The bulkhead wrench made by Precision Marine is not likely to light up the forums with excitement, but when you need a tool like this it can be a total lifesaver. The professional install guys know what we’re talking about; there are so many jobs with plumbing through the bottom of the tank, and therefore the stand, that in many cases it is simply not practical or even possible to get your fingers or monkey wrench to access the bulkhead nut for a strong, tight twist. The bulkhead wrench seems like it would be a great tool for the aquarium service guys (or gals) or even for an LFS to have on hand and occasionally rent or loan to their customers. The bulkhead wrench comes in a 3/4 and 1 inch sizes and are both about $12 and we spotted a larger 1.5 inch bulkhead wrench at the Precision Marine Reefapalooza booth which we presume would be about $20.
