The Hydor Smartwave is one nice device and we happened to catch a prototype of this wavemaker on display at the Hydor booth at Reef Stock. Although the prototype we saw doesn’t have the white lettering the final production model will have, the Hydor Smartwave is a steal at $59.99. The two channel device can be split and can support up to 100W on each plug. The Smartwave has three modes — feeding, oscillating and synchronized — along with the ability to change the time from five seconds to six hours. Expects these out on the market soon.
