About a year ago we reported on the closing of Blue Planet Reef Farms and in a few weeks you will have the opportunity to profit from their loss. It appears that many aspects of BPRF never really got off the ground and there’s a ton of new and near-new commercial grade aquarium equipment up for auction. It may not make sense to ship salt and gravel but there’s plenty of high dollar items like water pumps, skimmers and other gear which should be tempting acquisitions for any aquarium fish store.
The Auction Catalog of BPRF’s assets lists a ton of Reeflo water pumps, most of which are equipped with durable Baldor motors. We’ve got our eye on the microscopes and the ozone generator so ya’ll leave those alone now ya hear? The auction of the Commercial Tropical Fish Farm equipment is being handled by Thomas Hirchak Company and full details are listed on Blue Planet Reef Farms auction webpage.
