The Bladefin basslet, Jeboehlkia gladifer, and the Golden basslet, Liopropoma aberrans, are a couple of extremely deep water Caribbean which have only recently seen the light of day alive thanks to recent collection efforts with deep diving submersible. Our first couple posts on the Golden and Bladefin basslets shared the first living aquarium photos of these species and now thanks to Blue Harbor, we have some of the first living videos of these two ultra rare reef fish species. Pictured above is the live bladefin basslet, one of which is reported to have sold for a really big price and the video of the golden basslet is after the break.
