The iconic Atlantis Marine World of Long Island, NY is reinventing itself with the launch of a new hotel as the Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center. After ten years of operating as the Atlantis we all know and love with their 20,000-gallon world-renowned reef aquarium, 3,000-gallon clownfish and anemone tank and many, many more exhibits, the new LIA & EC totally reshapes the facility not just as a day-trip, but as a full blown event center capable of hosting, oh maybe a MACNA or maybe it’s time for for NERAC to finally grow to a national level. Congrats to Joe Yaiullo and Jim Bissett on the opening of the new hotel July 1 and we’ll look forward to getting out that way and seeing the new developments for ourselves.
