FishTales is a new TV show from Australia hosted by Paul Talbot. We really connect with the opening scene of this promo video, as we can remember spending waayyyy too long to buy nothing at the aquarium stores while loitering there as a young aquarist. Unlike the new aquarium really show Tanked which seems like more of a build show in the vein of Mythbusters, Orange County Choppers etc.,
FishTales mentions and reiterates the passion of aquarium keeping and it seems more slanted on teaching people how to do it better. Even if this show is slanted towards the beginner to intermediate aquarist, if it’s got more slapstick comments like the one by Peter Halloran at 1:40 and it tours various public aquariums down under, we’ll be watching at least the first few episodes. No word on when and where this show will be syndicated yet, but Australian TV is probably a given.
