MACNA setup is still in full swing yet we’re already on the ground spying some new products for the reef aquarium scene. First up is the Coralife Aqualight LED, a hefty (thick) LED aquarium light with a built in controller and some degree of color control. Only one unit is on display at the Coraife booth but no one is around to answer any questions about this light yet. The Aqualight LED is loaded with Cree XP-sized LED chips in both blue and white, but specific shades is beyond us. The Aqualight LED pictured here has two modules and is about 24″ long but the simple flyer shows another fixture with four modules. We’ll revisit this light when the show actually starts, in the meantime enjoy the first spy shots of the Coralife Aqualight LED.
