Countour makes some pretty interesting HD video cameras that make it easy to clip it on and tape your latest exploits and have just added the ContourRoam, the company’s first high definition underwater camera. You know we love our waterproof and underwater HD cameras and the ContourRoam is one we’d love to try out. Granted the camera is only rated for short distances and a relatively short duration with a 1 meter and 30 minute limit but the camera is a great option for surface filming, surfing or even just dunking the camera in your aquarium.
The ContourRoam is a hands-free camera touting a a super wide-angle, 170-degree rotating lens, capable of capturing HD video in three different resolutions (1080p, 960p, and 720p) at 30fps. You can rotate the lens up to 270 degrees plus it projects a horizontal laser to help you align your shots. The camera is available for around $200 and is available now. Thanks to Salvatore for the tip!
