Salifert, the famous brand know to produce quality water test kits are redesigning their popular line of Profi (expert quality) test kits. Specifically, the user instructions, graphics and other important information have been redesigned to offer better readability which means they are much easier to use. This is probably one of the highest complaints about Salifert and it is nice to see them addressing this issue, although, hard core reef aquarium hobbyists know how to perform the tests by heart.
Additionally, a new option of hard shell plastic casing is available if you are one of those people that despise the cardboard boxes the test kits arrive in, you will be happy about the option to purchase the kits in the hard shell plastic case. The new Salifert design has started production and should be hitting later this year as old inventory slowly gets cleared out of the retail pipeline.
