We’re guessing white is the new black as two companies, Digital Aquatics and Coral Compulsion, have added products with “white” to its line up. First off is Coral Compulsion releasing a white version of its PAR38 LED lamp holder. Second is Digital Aquatics releasing its ReefKeeper Titanium with a white display.
Coral Compulsion released a beefed up gooseneck lamp fixture for PAR38/PAR30 LED bulbs in a white version. The lamp holder features a standard E26/27 socket that can hold up to 2 pounds of weight. The lamp is adjustable with a vinyl coated gooseneck to allow you some flexibility in getting just the right amount of coverage. The lamp attaches to the aquarium with an acrylic clamp that can fit tank rims up to 1 in. thick with nylon thumb screws. The lamp holder runs $39.99 on the Coral Compulsion website.
The Digital Aquatics ReefKeeper Titanium Elite and Titanium Plus is merely just the previous iteration but swapped the blue display screen with a white version and a lower price. While we like the cool blue look, the white version should have more contrast between the background and information displayed that might make it a bit easier to read. The company is dubbing these limited edition and shaving off $50 from the price of the regular units. More information can be found on the Digital Aquatics website.
