Dakkang is another talented reef aquarist from Korea, with aquascaping skills to boot. The previous rock arrangement of this 98 gallon reef was quite impressive, but the aquascape recently got a complete overhaul to optimize the water flow. The result is the spectacular reef shown.
The main display measures approximately 29.5 by 35.5 by 21.5 inches (75 by 90 by 55 cm), for a volume of 98 gallons (370 liters). The total water volume including sump comes down to around 112 gallons (425 liters). The corals are illuminated by a DIY T5 fluorescent fixture with ten 24 watt bulbs. The water movement for the high flow loving Acroporas within the display are provided by two Tunze 6055’s in combination with two Vortech MP10W pumps. Filtration is met by a Bubble King 250, along with minimal liverock. A korallin 1502 calcium reactor meets the calcium demand. A chiller keeps the whole system a steady 80 degrees Fahrenheit (26-26.5 degree Celsius).

The whole system is exclusively dosed Zeovit including ZEObak, Zeo Start 3, Sponge Power, Bio-Mate, ZEOzym, Coral Vitalizer, Phol Xtra Special, Iodine Complex, and Amino Acids. A DIY Zeovit reactor keeps the Zeolites stirred.
