The JBWave is a new basic controller from Joe Jaworski, the electronics wizard who brought his own blend of aquarium controller with the MCU Research Lighthouse and novel accessories several years back. His newest creation the JBWave gets back to core functionality with some simplified and advanced controllability with Jebao’s WP line of propeller water pumps.
The Jebao WP10, WP25, WP40 and WP60 have become surprisingly popular throughout the aquarium world for providing cost effective flow with little frills, with a super simple controller for individually controlling the output of each pump. This is where the JBWave comes in with dual pump controlling for Jebao WP10 through WP60 pumps to be a wavemaker, and synchronize any pair of pumps together.
The JBWave replaces the controller of Jebao pumps and works with the existing power supply and connecting cable of the Jebao WP pumps. With no screen to adjust the JBWave itself, programming of the dual Jebao controller requires a connection to any Mac, PC or Ubuntu Linux computer using a USB cable, allowing granular adjustments of wave pattern, cycle speed, cycle time and ramp time.
The JBWave is available for $79 for a complete kit or $39 for a DIY version that you can enclose yourself for the tinkerers in the crowd. [JBWave]
