The best thing about Piscine Energetics Mysis shrimp is how rich and nutrient dense these freshwater crustaceans are, and how quickly that translates into well-conditioned, fat happy fish. The small Mysis shrimp that Piscine Energetics harvests tend to show up early in the evening, usually mid-way through the summer. It is a low density catch that used to be mixed in with the adults. Due to demand by mostly seahorse breeders and public aquariums, PE Mysis began sorting them as “Special Graded Smalls” in pink packaging last year.
