The Continuum AquaBlade Mop is not something we haven’t seen before in the market but it is a new product from the company recently founded by industry veteran Jack Kent. Designed to safely clean diatoms, soft algae and cyanobacteria from acrylic and glass aquariums to remove from flat surfaces, it fits on the end of your wand scraper to allow you to mop off the gunk instead of scraping that could scratch acrylic surfaces.
The Continuum Aquatics AquaBlade Mop is made from a synthetic woven material to provide enough scraping power and durability while not being too hard to scratch your soft surfaces. The Mop is fitted with an internal weave of fibers to give some loft to the mopping mat while adding more flexibility when pushing the pad against the aquarium surfaces.
These fit all Continuum’s scraper models and will even fit your old Kent Marine scrapers if you have one lying around. Retail price for these are around $12 USD.
