The PLS-50 Elite improved on the previous iteration improved micro bubble control to eliminate these from working their way into the main tank. Additionally, there is a 25% larger neck and collection cup for a larger capacity and smoother operation along with a larger bubble plate to increase capacity and overall efficiency. Plus they note the skimmer runs silent at just 5dB over audible sound.<The new PLS-50 Elite is due to begin shipping on July 21 and retails for $134.99.
