Fritz Aquatics just scored a royalty agreement with Sergeants Pet Care Products. Sergeants if you weren’t familiar are extremely popular for their Mardel and aquarium product lines including: CopperSafe, Maracyn, Maracyn 2, MarOxy, Maracide, Maracyn+, ProtoShield, ParaShield, BacterShield, QuickCure, Crystal Clear, Clout and BioZyme. Most people didn’t realize that Fritz was manufacturing the majority of the Mardel line for the past six years under a private label but now Fritz will be the master distributor. “We at Fritz are very close to the Mardel line and are proud to be able to continue it under the Fritz banner,” said Mike Noce, Fritz Industries Sales Manager. “The Mardel products are a fantastic addition to our existing line of Fritz Aquatics chemical and biological products.” Mardel has been around for years most popular among the freshwater aquarium additive crowd although it does have extensions into saltwater aquatics. “I’m excited to see the Mardel line continue with a company like Fritz Industries,” said Colin Brodie, Senior Director of Marketing at Sergeants Pet Care Products, Inc. “We originally chose Fritz because they are an FDA approved facility and provided high quality products.”
The agreement went into affect earlier this month.
