We were able to see the Jebao RW Wireless WaveMaker in person at Interzoo 2014 and have recently come across a few videos of the product in action we felt were worth sharing. Although Jebao is known for some serviceable pumps at a lower price than other brand name pumps on the market, but this version actually has some features to make it a bit more compelling.
The Jebao RW Wireless series is low voltage allows for more flexible flow rates with eight different settings and in four different sizes — the RW4 (4000l/hr max. at 10W), RW8 (8000l/hr max. at 23W), RW15 (13000l/hr max. at 40W) and the largest the RW20 (20000l/hr max. at 60W).
Each pump can be operated on its own or tied into the wireless controller where you can wirelessly control multiple pumps to synchronize flow. A few of the nice features this pump has is an automatic night sensor that detects when your lights are off and automatically adjusts to a softer flow. There is also a build in 10 min. feed timer to allow your fish and corals ample time to eat before turning the pumps back on. There are also programmable flow options to mimic different locations in the ocean.
You can take one of these home starting at around $60-70 for the Jebao RW4, around $70-80 for the Jebao RW8 and around $90 for the Jebao RW15.
