Self-assembled furniture is nothing new in the aquarium industry, but its nice to see new options come on the market for those looking to add a little more flair for their aquariums and the Aqueon Trends Aquarium Stands might be just what they are looking for.
Aqueon has a broad portfolio often geared towards the entry-level or casual aquarist and while this doesn’t have all the bells and whistles (or doors to hide sumps and other goodies) the reefing community likes, it is a nice departure from the traditional boxy dark woodgrained designs we normally see.
According to the product description on the company’s YouTube page, the Trends Aquarium Stands are made of durable layered wood, are moisture-resistant and include adhesive clips for organizing power cords out of sight. Assembly looks as straightforward as Ikea products. We are assuming you’ll see these start trickling out to your major suppliers and retailers over the next few months.
