ReefStock 2016 is just under two weeks away and we’re busily putting the final pieces to the first big reef aquarium event of the year. ReefStock started as an idea and a name more than ten years ago and we never could have imagined that it would continue and grow into the fun and exciting event it has become.
Since the first show back in 2008, ReefStock has hosted the country’s best speakers and helped to launch some great new aquarium products. Denver is a very fertile place for beautiful and exotic corals and in this vein we’ve been fortunate to see some incredible spreads of corals and frags being offered by all the coral vendors that come to ReefStock every year.
As the official Reef Builders show which we’ve produced eight times before, you can be sure that this is one reef aquarium conference which is a well oiled machine, and well worth traveling for. Denver is a great city which is known for delicious food, great and diverse beers, and of course certain recreational freedoms which are not permitted throughout most of the country.
Don’t forget, Denver is also home to a great range of reef aquarium stores and the Denver Downtown Aquarium is not too shabby either, having generated tons of post-worthy stories for the reef aquarium scene over the years. Finally, Denver is just a short one to two hour drive from some of the world’s best slopes for skiing or snowboarding, and we’ve been enjoying a very great year for powder.
No matter what you’re into, visiting ReefStock in Denver next weekend, February 27th and 28th is a great opportunity to give yourself a mini vacation. More than 150 cities in the U.S. have direct flights to Denver with many round trip flights pricing between $120 to $200, even now with such short notice.
We’ve made ReefStock the best reef aquarium event we can, the local community of reefers already knows what it’s about and they will come out in droves. This year promises to be the best ReefStock to date and we want to see as many of you Reef Builders readers come to ReefStock this year as possible.
