Can O’ Cyclops is a new canned food from ZooMed which is packed with juicy small copepods. The Cyclops are a genus of freshwater copepods which range in size from 500 to 1000 microns (0.5 to 1mm) in size and are an ideal food for small fish and corals.
The canning process used to preserve the Cyclops in a moist state cooks the food in the can to deliver a highly nutritious food which almost as fresh as live food, and in some ways more convenient than frozen food. You will need to refrigerate the Can O Cyclops after opening and use it up within seven to ten days.
Introduced alongside with Can O’ Cyclops is Can O Bloodworms and Can O’ Shrimp, all of which come in a can weighting approximately 90 grams, or a tad over three ounces. The canned bloodworms and shrimp offerings from ZooMed represent yet another method to provide juicy and little produced whole foods to our aquarium fish and could be a great source of attractive food for tempting finicky and newly acquired aquarium fish.
