InterZoo 2016 will be a huge event for new aquarium products

InterZoo 2016 is the greatest pet and aquarium show on earth, it’s right around the corner, and we couldn’t be more pumped! For six years, since InterZoo 2010, Reef Builders has been the go-to source for aquatic news and new aquarium product releases that are announced at this behemoth show, and InterZoo 2016 is going to be one helluva year.

In North America, ReefStock and MACNA enjoy the lion’s share of new product announcements, especially in regards to high tech reef aquarium gear from companies that operate in the American marine aquarium market. But when it comes to the rest of the world, and especially the juggernaut and boutique aquarium companies from Europe, InterZoo is their big coming out party. InterZoo 2014 brought us big hits including the MaxSpect Gyre pump, Triton Tests, Sicce XStream pumps, the GHL Doser 2, and so many more.

If you’ve ever been to a MACNA, picture the size of the room holding all the different aquarium companies, now multiply that by a factor of at least TEN – that’s how big InterZoo is, and every year it seems to occupy more and more of the gigantic Nuremberg Messe convention center. Each and every day of InterZoo we will be walking a minimum of ten miles, going from hall to hall, to the media room for some quick write-ups, and then back out on the show floor to find more new stuff to share with you.

InterZoo is a lot of work but 2016 is shaping out to be a bumper year for new and exciting tech in the aquarium and reefing space. We’ve already got the scoop on a dizzying number of truly killer products – there’s so many great pumps, skimmers, lights, controllers and other devices that it’ll make your head spin.

InterZoo 2016 is happening May 26th to the 29th, in Nuremberg Germany, and is only open to trade (business) visitors.
