The Elos Stella LED is a new aquarium light fixture which oozes class and style, in a package that would look great over any kind of tank. The sleek Elos Stella houses a built-in controller, 24 hour timer function, and a broad gamut of colors thanks to the RGB + white LED lighting platform.
The uber thin Elos Stella LED has a maximum lighting power of 20 watts which is spread across Seoul Semiconductor RGB chips with an efficiency of 100 lumens per watt, accompanied by a 6,500 Kelvin Philips Luxeon LED with an efficiency of 146 lumens per watt. The solid unibody aluminum construction has a built-in 4-channel light timer and a 128 x 64 pixel OLED display, and easy touch control buttons.
A wireless radio and NFC connectivity allows the programming of the Elos Stella LED via any smartphone, iOS and android. An equally sleek acrylic mounting bracket finishes out the ultra modern look of the Stella, which should retail in the neighborhood of 250€ when the light becomes available later this year.
